SMS Terms of Use & Privacy

Overview

Paradigm Advisors, LLC (“Paradigm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides limited, one-to-one text messaging (SMS/MMS/RCS) with clients for service-related communications. We do not send marketing blasts or unsolicited texts. By providing your mobile number to Paradigm or by texting our business number, you agree to these SMS Terms of Use & Privacy (“SMS Terms”).

1) Message Types & Purpose

• One-to-one client service texts: scheduling/meeting confirmations, reminders, account-related notices, and replies to your inquiries.
• No promotional campaigns or bulk marketing.

2) Consent & Opt-In Methods

• Client-initiated: If you text our business number, you consent to receive replies related to your inquiry.
• Advisor-initiated (with consent): We may text you after you’ve provided your mobile number and consent (e.g., during onboarding).
• In our first message, we identify our brand and include key disclosures (frequency, rates, STOP/HELP, and this link).

3) Costs & Frequency

Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply.

4) Opt-Out / Unsubscribe

You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message. You’ll receive a confirmation that you’ve been unsubscribed and no further messages will be sent from that Paradigm number unless you later reply START.

6) Your Responsibilities

Do not send sensitive data by text (e.g., account numbers, SSNs, full card numbers). Use our secure channels for confidential materials.

7) Eligibility / Age

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect SMS information from children.

8) SMS Privacy — What We Collect

• Identifiers/contact details: name and mobile number.
• Message content & metadata: messages, timestamps, delivery status.
• Consent records: when/how consent or client-initiated texting occurred.

9) How We Use SMS Information

• To communicate one-to-one about your advisory relationship (scheduling, reminders, notices, replies).
• To meet legal and compliance obligations (including SEC books-and-records retention and supervision).
• To operate, secure, and improve our communications systems.
• We do not use SMS for marketing.

10) Sharing & Disclosure

We may share SMS information with:

• Service providers that support communications, archiving, cybersecurity, or compliance (bound by contract to use it only for us).
• Regulators, auditors, or legal authorities as required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell mobile numbers. We do not share mobile opt-in information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

11) Retention & Supervision

We retain SMS communications for periods required by law and our recordkeeping policies. Communications may be reviewed for supervision/compliance.

 12) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect SMS information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No method is 100% secure.

 13) Your Choices

• Unsubscribe: reply STOP (or any recognized stop keyword) to end texts.
• Support/changes: reply HELP or contact us to update your mobile number or preferences.

14) Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will be noted for a reasonable period.
